Reach the lodge in the early afternoon. Take some time to unwind and acclimatize to the tranquil surroundings over a leisurely tea or lunch.

Guided Walk: Join our experienced tracker team for an afternoon walk around the lodge's vicinity, starting after 4 pm. Explore the camp's surroundings and learn about the main elephant tracks, gaining a deeper understanding of the area's natural beauty and wildlife.
Sundowner and Dinner: Enjoy a refreshing sundowner around 6:30 pm, followed by a delectable dinner served under the moonlit sky or the canopy of stars at 8 pm.
Stay at Buttala Tree Top Lodge: Experience the unique charm of Buttala Tree Top Lodge as you retire for the night in the midst of nature's embrace

Wake up to the natural sounds surrounding you, and enjoy a relaxed breakfast with tea or coffee. Set off on a walk into the dry zone's mature, tall virgin forest.
The air becomes cooler and different as you enter this protected forest, which is linked to Yala National Park, approximately 7 km to the south.
Follow animal trails, where you might spot evidence of nocturnal wildlife activity, such as footprints of sloth bears, paw prints of leopards, and tracks of wild elephants.
Observe various dry zone forest birds and encounter rare ebony trees.
Optionally, hike up a mountain to reach an open rocky area that provides a panoramic view of the east and south, offering an almost complete vista of Yala National Park.
Head out on an excursion to nearby lakes.
Spend some time by a lake, taking in the scenery and watching the birdlife. With some luck, you may see elephants drinking water.
Enjoy a sundowner after a refreshing shower. Stay at Buttala Tree Top Lodge.

Spend your day at the lodge enjoying a relaxed morning meal and immersing yourself in the natural rhythms of the jungle. You can explore the small library, which features books on Sri Lankan elephants, nature, and history, and interact with the knowledgeable local staff who can teach you to interpret the jungle’s sounds and smells. For those who prefer to be active, another wildlife walk can be arranged, with the route varying based on current wildlife movements. End your day with an overnight stay at Buttala Tree Top Lodge.

After enjoying breakfast at the lodge, guests will embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Gal Oya. Upon arrival, they can unwind by the lodge's swimming pool, taking in the tranquil surroundings. The day concludes with a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at the Gal Oya Lodge.

On Day 08, guests will start with a fulfilling breakfast at the Lodge, followed by a leisurely walk in the surrounding area. Lunch will be served at the Galoya Lodge, providing a chance to recharge before an exciting afternoon activity. In the afternoon, guests will embark on a boat safari in Gal Oya National Park, where they can witness swimming elephants in their natural habitat. This unique experience allows visitors to observe wildlife up close from the water, as Gal Oya National Park is the only national park in Sri Lanka that offers boat safaris. Guests are responsible for purchasing entrance tickets for the park. The day concludes with a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the Galoya Lodge.

Day 09 begins with a delightful breakfast at Galoya Lodge, setting the tone for a day of adventure and exploration. Guests will embark on a thrilling Jeep drive through the jungle to reach the Nilgala river, known for its unique feature of flowing under a boulder field. Entrance tickets for this excursion are to be purchased by the guests. Following the Jeep drive, lunch will be served back at the lodge. Guests can then unwind and relax or opt for leisurely walks within the expansive grounds of the hotel. The day concludes with a satisfying dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at Galoya Lodge, providing a perfect end to a day filled with nature and discovery.

Start your day with breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a 3 ½ hour drive to Kandy. Once there, take a leisurely walk through the Udawattakele Sanctuary, a forest rich in diverse vegetation, including canopy, sub-canopy, and an underground layer. The dense plant life limits sunlight from reaching the ground, supporting a unique ecosystem with seedlings and creepers. Noteworthy features include the ancient "Pus Wela" liana, the Water Pond, Kodimale peak, Senkanda Cave, and the Garrison Cemetery. The forest is also home to several Buddhist temples and hermitages. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at Earls Regency Hotel.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before driving for approximately 4 hours to Wilpattu. Upon arrival at Wilpattu National Park, meet the crew at noon and proceed to the campsite inside the park. Enjoy lunch at the camp followed by an evening game drive. Wilpattu features a dense dry zone jungle with numerous flood plain lakes edged with white sands and is home to diverse flora and wildlife, including deer, elephants, wild boar, sloth bears, and leopards. Conclude the day with a BBQ dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Experience a full day of adventure at the campsite in Wilpattu. Start with an exhilarating early morning game drive, encountering diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast back at the camp, unwind and enjoy leisure time surrounded by the wilderness. As the day progresses, set out on another thrilling evening game drive, witnessing the park's fauna in action. Conclude the day with a delightful BBQ dinner under the starlit sky at the campsite, followed by a peaceful overnight stay immersed in the captivating ambiance of Wilpattu National Park.

Begin Day 13 with breakfast at the campsite followed by a morning game drive, exploring the wildlife of Wilpattu National Park. After the game drive, check out from the campsite and embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Negombo. Once in Negombo, settle in for an overnight stay at Goldi Sands Hotel, where you can relax and unwind after your adventurous day in the wilderness.

On Day 14, enjoy breakfast at Goldi Sands Hotel before embarking on a short 20-minute drive to the airport for your departure. Take in any last-minute sights and memories of Negombo before saying farewell and heading to the airport for your onward journey.
