Day 01: Arrival and Transfer to Wilpattu

• Arrive at Colombo International Airport and meet our representative.
• Transfer to Wilpattu, a journey of approximately 4 to 5 hours.
• Enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay at Wilpattu Safari Camp.

Day 02: Full Day Safari in Wilpattu National Park

• Embark on a full-day safari from 6 AM to 6 PM with picnic meals.
• Explore Wilpattu, the largest national park in Sri Lanka, known for its diverse habitats and rich wildlife, including 31 species of mammals such as leopards, sloth bears, elephants, spotted and barking deer, sambur, wild boar, and crocodiles.
• The park is also home to numerous bird species, butterflies, and reptiles.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Wilpattu Safari Camp.

Day 03: Second Full Day Safari in Wilpattu National Park

• Another full-day safari from 6 AM to 6 PM with picnic meals.
• Continue exploring the diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes of Wilpattu.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Wilpattu Safari Camp.

Day 04: Morning Safari and Transfer to Polonnaruwa

• Morning safari from 6 AM to 10 AM focusing on bird species such as the Brown Fish Owl, White Rumped Shama, and Stork Billed Kingfisher.
• Return to the camp for freshening up and lunch.
• Transfer to Polonnaruwa, a 3-hour drive.
• Evening walk in the garden of Polonnaruwa Monkey Camp to spot the nocturnal Slender Loris.
• Dinner and overnight at the Monkey Camp in Polonnaruwa, a wildlife research center.

Day 05: Primate Watching and Catamaran Ride

• Early morning walking tour at 5:30 AM to observe primates like the Torque Macaque, Grey Langur, and Purple-faced Langur.
• Capture photos of these monkeys against the backdrop of ancient ruins.
• Lunch at the camp.
• Evening catamaran boat ride on Parakrama Samudra Lake to photograph birds and the picturesque sunset.
• Dinner and overnight at the Monkey Camp in Polonnaruwa.

Day 06: Transfer to Sigiriya and Afternoon Safari

• Breakfast at the camp and relax in the morning.
• Transfer to Sigiriya, approximately a 1-hour drive.
• Afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park from 3 to 6 PM to photograph elephants against the backdrop of large lakes.

Dinner and overnight stay at Atha Resort Sigiriya.

Day 07: Transfer to Nuwara Eliya

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, a drive of about 5 to 6 hours.
• Dinner and overnight stay at The Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya.

Day 08: Horton Plains National Park and Transfer to Yala

• Depart for Horton Plains National Park at 5 AM with a picnic breakfast, a 1.5-hour drive.
• Explore the bio-diverse hotspot featuring grassy plains, cloud forests, and scenic spots like Baker’s Waterfall.
• Photograph Samber Deer against the grassy plains.
• Transfer to Yala, a 4-hour drive.
• Enjoy a sun-downer in Yala Camp with gin and tonic or local arrack cocktail topped with Ginger Beer.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Yala Safari Camp.

Day 09: Full Day Safari in Yala National Park

• Full-day safari from 6 AM to 6 PM. Yala is famous for its high leopard density and also features elephants, bears, spotted deer, crocodiles, and many bird species.
• Picnic breakfast and lunch provided.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Yala Safari Camp.

Day 10: Second Full Day Safari in Yala National Park

• Another full-day safari from 6 AM to 6 PM with picnic breakfast and lunch.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Yala Safari Camp.

Day 11: Bundala National Park and Transfer to Weligama

• Early morning safari in Bundala National Park from 6 to 10 AM, a key bird-watching site with elephants, spotted deer, and crocodiles.
• Photograph resident, endemic, and migratory birds.
• Breakfast at the camp.
• Transfer to Weligama, a 3-hour drive.
• Dinner and overnight stay at W15 in Weligama.

Day 12: Whale Watching Trip

• Boat trip in the Indian Ocean at 6:30 AM with a picnic breakfast to see Blue Whales, returning by 12 noon.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Weligama Bay Resort in Weligama.

Day 13: Second Whale Watching Trip and Transfer to Negombo

• Second boat trip at 6:30 AM with a picnic breakfast to see Blue Whales, returning by 12 noon.
• Transfer to Negombo, a 3-hour drive.
• Gala dinner with live music and overnight stay at Jetwing Sea in Negombo.

Day 14: Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer to the airport for departure, approximately a 20-minute drive.
