You will start your day with an early morning kayaking session. This tranquil and refreshing activity allows you to connect with nature, enjoying the calmness of the water at dawn. After kayaking, you'll have breakfast at your hotel, which will provide the necessary energy for the rest of your day's adventures.
Next, you'll embark on a jungle walk and a village tour. The jungle walk will immerse you in the natural beauty and biodiversity of the area, while the village tour offers a glimpse into the local culture and daily life. This combination provides a holistic experience of both nature and community.

In the evening, you'll be transferred to Sigiriya, a site of great historical significance. You will climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once the palace and pleasure garden of King Kassapa. The climb will reward you with stunning views and a chance to explore ancient frescoes, a mirrored wall, and beautifully landscaped gardens, deepening your appreciation of Sri Lankan history and architecture.
After descending from the rock fortress, you'll return to your hotel for a BBQ dinner. This meal will offer a relaxing and enjoyable end to your day, featuring delicious local cuisine in a pleasant and comfortable setting.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kandy, which is approximately a 2 ½ hour drive. Kandy is a cultural and historical hub in Sri Lanka, known for its beautiful landscapes and the famous Temple of the Tooth.
From Kandy, you will continue your journey with a transfer to Mahinyangana Road, which is about 22 kilometers away. From there, you will travel an additional 18 kilometers inland by van to reach the starting point of your trek.
The trek itself covers approximately 8 kilometers one way, totaling 16 kilometers round trip. This trek offers a diverse and immersive experience as you pass through home spice gardens, vegetable fields, rice fields, tea plantations, pygmy forests, and plateaus. The variety of landscapes provides insight into local agriculture and natural environments.
During the trek, you will gradually ascend from 1,200 feet to 1,850 feet, which offers a moderate challenge and rewards with panoramic views. Along the way, you might encounter wildlife such as deer, barking deer, deer monkeys, and various types of lizards, adding an element of wildlife observation to your trek.
At the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to swim at the base of a picturesque waterfall, providing a refreshing break and a chance to relax amidst nature.
On the return trek, there will be opportunities for bird watching, allowing you to observe and enjoy the region's avian diversity.
For the night, you will stay in a mobile tented camp in the Knuckles Mountain Range, at an elevation above 1,200 feet from sea level. This camping experience immerses you in the natural beauty and tranquility of the mountain range, providing a unique and memorable way to end your adventurous day.

Your day will begin with breakfast, providing the energy needed for the day's activities. Following breakfast, you will embark on a circular trek covering approximately 18 kilometers. This trek offers a rich and varied experience through several distinct environments:
- Tea Plantations: You will start by walking through lush tea plantations, where you can see how tea is grown and perhaps observe local workers harvesting tea leaves. The sight of the terraced fields and the fresh, aromatic air make this part of the trek particularly enjoyable.
- Pine Forest: The trek then leads you through serene pine forests, offering a change of scenery and a cool, refreshing atmosphere. Pine forests provide a tranquil environment and are often home to diverse wildlife.
- Kandyan Village: Moving on, you will pass through a typical Kandyan village. This part of the trek provides a unique opportunity to observe and experience local village life.
